Ivy Gate Lodge is a modern, purpose-built home that offers an array of exceptional facilities to ensure we deliver exemplary care and support balanced with stylish furnishings so residents can feel at home, enjoying each day with ease and comfort.
Bedrooms
Our spacious bedrooms come complete with an en suite wet room and wireless alert system that allows you to call a member of staff at any time of day or night when additional assistance is required. Each room includes an adjustable profiling bed, flat-screen TV, wireless internet connection and a wireless alert system.
Lounges
The Lodge has several lounges, furnished for your relaxation and entertainment. Here, we often host entertainers, film afternoons, exercise classes and more. We also have designated areas around the home for you and your guests to enjoy each other’s company in comfort and privacy.
Hair & Beauty Salon
Our in-house hair & beauty salon comes with a resident hairstylist, who is available to you and all other residents. You are more than welcome to invite your own personal hairdresser to visit if you wish. Here we also provide beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures and hand massages.
Television/Activities Room
We have our very own television/activities room which is ideal for getting together with friends to watch your favourite films, play games, create art and much more.
Dining Experience
Ivy Gate Lodge has been designed with maximum care and attention to make sure that you get the most out of your dining experience. From beautifully set tables to freshly made meals cooked by our in-house chef, you can expect to receive only the best service.
Activities, Outings & Wellbeing
Our Activities & Wellbeing team will provide you with a varied and engaging programme that inspires communication, social interaction, movement, reminiscence and more. There are also regular visits to parks, markets and shops in and around the local area, as well as organised excursions to places of interest.
Gardens & Patios
Our residents, their families and friends have access to our manicured garden where they can spend time enjoying the beautiful surroundings or even try their hand at gardening. Some of our ground floor bedrooms open out onto private patios which provide that extra bit of space and privacy.
Visiting
Families and friends are warmly welcomed to the Lodge which is made easier with our own private visitors’ car parking area. We consider visiting an essential way of ensuring that you get to stay in touch with loved ones. There’s always time for a chat over a cup of tea using our residents’ kitchen facilities!
The Local Area
Situated in the Victorian seaside town of Southport in the borough of Sefton, the Lodge is in close proximity to the town centre and the seafront.
It is near to local bus and train routes so our residents can get out and about as and when they wish to.
