Ivy Gate Lodge staff cheerfully participated in the Queenscourt Hospice Flower Float fundraiser, helping a highly deserving charity while taking in a bright day full of colour and community spirit.

Bringing the Community Together

Staff members participated in the festivities and assisted with donation collection while wearing colourful and entertaining costumes. Staff, residents, and kids from Kew Woods Primary School built the float's unique decoration of hand-crafted flowers.

Everyone contributed to something special, making the project a true communal effort. The pride in the completed display demonstrated a common dedication to assisting Queenscourt Hospice.

To add some humour and laughter to the day, Ray from Co-op Funeral Care kindly volunteered to be pushed along on both a bed and a wheelchair.

Teamwork to Make a Difference

This kind of event emphasises the value of giving back and community ties. Participation in fundraising events not only raises important funding for hospice care but also builds relationships by bringing people together.

Additionally, it fosters teamwork as well as a sense of pride in supporting a significant local cause, making it a rewarding and uplifting experience for all those involved.

A Proud Community Effort

Ivy Gate Lodge is incredibly happy to have supported Queenscourt Hospice through this joyful community event, and would like to thank everyone who donated or came along to show their support.
