The on-site hair salon at Ivy Gate Lodge provides a comforting touch of luxury to everyday life at our care home in Southport. A regular pampering session does wonders for residents’ self-esteem and emotional health, and provides an opportunity to relax, socialise and take a valuable moment for themselves. Our professional stylists provide a range of confidence-boosting treatments, designed to help our residents receive their favourite services, without leaving the comfort of our home.
Our hairdresser, Wendy, visits every Tuesday and will stay until the last resident has had their hair done. For those who are unable to visit the salon themselves, she will take the services to their bedroom, as we understand the importance of our residents looking and feeling their best no matter what level of care they receive.
