Our activities are tailored to the abilities of each participant, and our patient staff are always ready to step in and led a hand is needed. The safe and supportive environment we have fostered ensure that residents who are living with dementia can get involved and reap all the benefits of our wellbeing programme.

At Ivy Gate Lodge, we offer a variety of activities including creative endeavours such as art and music, gentle exercise, sensory stimulation and reminiscence.

Our purpose built environment has been carefully designed with residents’ safety in mind, with wide corridors, no trip hazards and bright, open spaces. Nurses are present at all times in communal areas for help when needed, without being invasive. Our nurse call system each every bedroom means that expert care is just a phone call away at all times.

Our person-centred approach means we work closely with residents and their families to create a fully tailored care plan to suit their preferences and needs. This care plan is referred to by every person involved with the person’s care, including all care home staff and medical professionals. Nurses form strong relationships with residents and their loved ones, and really get to know each individuals personalities to ensure the highest level of wellbeing.
